If you (and your partner) have tried to have children for 12 months without success, you may be diagnosed with infertility or subfertility. We can help you examine the causes and find the way forward.

A fertility assessment consists of mapping the menstrual cycle, gynecological examination, blood tests, hormone tests and examination of the uterus and ovaries. Furthermore, it may be relevant to have an examination that checks whether the fallopian tubes are open.

Some challenges can be easily addressed, but in other cases the situation can be complicated. Your doctor will be able to give you advice tailored to your situation.

We can also write referrals for IVF treatment. If you wish to be referred for IVF treatment, both must be examined and meet criteria via an infertility assessment with us.

Information we can ask for during a report is:

General health and lifestyle
Menstrual cycle
If you have had previous pregnancies
Previous operations
Previous infections or diseases
Medicines
Sexually transmittable diseases
Contraception
- What kind
- How long you may have been using contraception
- When you stopped contraception

If you are two, we recommend that you book a double hour.
